International experts discuss modernization of civil service in Kazakhstan, Astana Economic Forum

"
Welcoming remarks were made by the UNDP Resident Representative Stephen Tull, Ambassador - Head of the EU Delegation in Kazakhstan Aurelia Bouchez and the former President of Poland Aleksander Kwasniewski.
The organizers have planned to hold the conference in three panel sessions focused on modernization of the civil service, knowledge management in the public service, as well as the sustainable development of the public service through regional cooperation.
During this substantial event it is expected to sign a number of memorandums of understanding and cooperation, including the ones between the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and the competent authorities of foreign countries in the field of public service, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kazakhstan and leading foreign universities in the field of public service.
