International conference on new radio technology opened in Astana

The conference is aimed at discussing the current status and tendency for development of radio technology in Kazakhstan, as well as the development and use of digital broadband Wi-Fi technology, introduction of digital broadcasting including the experience exchange on current objectives for digital broadcasting in Kazakhstan.

Representatives of the Kazakh Parliament, Ministry of Culture and Information, Kazakh Agency for Communication and Informational Support, experts of the International Telecommunication Union as well as representatives of telecommunication companies and producers of telecommunication equipment from foreign countries take part in the conference.

The first day of the conference is devoted to the issue on introduction of new technology, in particular, 3G, 4G and digital television as well as comparative analysis of the market on standards for digital broadcasting.

The conference was organized by the deputy group of Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament "Zhana Kazakhstan", Kazakh Agency for Communication and Informational Support and "National Information Holding "Arna Media" JSC.
