Inter Food Astana 2009 and Agri Hort Astana 2009 EXPOs open in Astana

ASTANA. June 10. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ International exhibitions of the achievements in food processing industry Inter Food Astana 2009 and agriculture Agri Hort Astana 2009 were opened in the Astana Congress-Hall; Kazinform reports.
It is the eleventh time Inter Food Astana 2009 exhibition takes place in the capital of Kazakhstan. The exhibition is aimed to show different food items as confectionery, pasta, fish, meat and sausage products as well as food-processing industry equipment, packing materials and etc. Food degustation contest are held as part of the exhibition. The given samples are estimated by highly professional jury under the chairmanship of the vice-president of the Kazakhstan Nutrition Academy.
The exhibitions will b open till June, 13. Special thematic seminars will be held during this period. Over 50 companies from 11 countries of the world as India, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Korea, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Czech Republic and Estonia participate in the exhibitions.
