Inter confirm interest in Edin Dzeko, Fernando Torres and Álvaro Morata

"We will sign a striker in the summer and he will be of European standard," Thohir said as reported in Gazzetta dello Sport. "We have a lot of candidates in our list. We have to sign a striker and reports point to Dzeko, [the Real Madrid forward Álvaro] Morata and Torres, and it would be great if one of them was to join us."
Dzeko is under contract with the Premier League side only until June 2015 and the Bosnia & Herzegovina striker has attracted the interest of top clubs in Europe. He has 41 goals in 93 league appearances for City, and 11 in 26 games this season, The Guardian reports.
Torres has been strongly linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in the next few months with Chelsea reportedly interested in the Atlético Madrid forward Diego Costa this summer.
The 30-year-old Torres, who joined the London club in a £50m transfer deal from Liverpool in January 2011, has fallen down the pecking order at Chelsea and scored just four goals in 16 league appearances this season.
Morata, meanwhile, has become a regular member of Madrid's first team under Carlo Ancelotti and has found the back of the net six times in 18 La Liga appearances. Inter have the fifth strongest attack in Serie A with 55 goals scored in 33 games.
