Innovative project "E-ambulance" successfully functions in Astana

According to "Astana Innovations", presently, all specialized crews are equipped with tablet PCs which have IP-telephony, GPS and medical reference books.

"The effectiveness of the project is in the fact that equipment of ambulances with modern information systems and navigation devices will allow to reduce the travel time to a patient and optimize the work of crews as well as reduce a possibility of making a mistake by a paramedic thanks to an opportunity to use online consultations," the press service of Astana Innovations Company informs.

Besides, the medical reference book which is also available in a tablet PC includes all descriptions of different symptoms of different diseases and a lot of necessary information for successful work of a medical crew. The information of the computer is updated monthly.

According to the information provided by the city station of emergency care of Astana, the number of calls serviced in the first quarter of the year increased by 32%, the percentage of hospitalization increased from 55.56% to 61.63%.

"E-ambulance" project is implemented within "Smart Astana" concept which is a unique project of modernization of infrastructure of the capital with principally new opportunities of centralized management, new standards of services and security.
