Innovations development program to be implemented in two stages - Ministry of Industry and New technologies

Vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies Nurmukhambet Abdibekov has announced it at the Government's session.

As the Vice Minister emphasized, the program aims at building a national innovation system which will ensure improvement of the economy's competitiveness. "Its main purposes are assistance to technological modernization, their own competencies creation and innovation area development", N.Abdibekov noted.

According to him, the program will be implemented in two stages. At the first stage the system of technological development management will be created, regulatory and legal framework will be improved, new types of innovation development programs will be elaborated, a system of analytic support of the innovation development processes will be launched.

"The second stage is characterized by systematic application of new programs and instruments of innovation development support which would be elaborated at the first stage", N.Abdibekov resumed.
