Injury forces Kazakh tennis player to retire from tournament in France

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - ITF Open de Cagnes-sur-Mer Alpes-Maritimes tournament is underway in France with prize fund of $100,000, Kazinform refers to Sports.kz.
As reported earlier , Zarina Diyas of Kazakhstan retired in the first round match while playing against Swiss tennis player Timea Bacsinszky.
It was revealed that the 20-year-old Diyas retired 6:2, 3:0 down due to an injury.
Another tennis player from Kazakhstan Yulia Putintseva is expected to vie in the last first round match of the tournament against Canadian Sharon Fichman today.
