Injured Kazakh tennis player retires from match in Strasbourg

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani tennis player Zarina Diyas has retired from her quarterfinal match against Christina McHale at the WTA international tournament in Strasbourg citing an injury, Kazinform has learnt from Sports.kz.

The 20-year-old Diyas lost the first set to the American 6:2 and was down 3:1 in the second one. The Kazakhstani athlete clearly not recovered from a thigh problem that hampered her in in the first round of the ITF tournament in France in early May.
