Informal meeting of CSTO heads of state starts in Astana

TANA. August 12. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Informal meeting of the CSTO heads of state started in the Astana Rixos hotel.
Presidents of Russia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and Kazakhstan gathered to discuss the topical issues of the regional security in the CSTO's area of responsibility, as well as the situation in Northern Africa and in the Middle East.
The CSTO's mechanisms of ensuring security in Central Asia and implementation of initiatives on the organization's development proposed by Belarus are also on the agenda.
