The fertility rate among adolescents aged 15-19 years is 32 per 1,000 women (in this age group), which is half the 2014 estimates.

In terms of health care for women during and after pregnancy, the study shows almost universal access to specialists and healthcare facilities for women throughout Kyrgyzstan.

According to the WHO, globally 2.3 million children died in the first 20 days of life in 2022. There are approximately 6500 newborn deaths every day, amounting to 47% of all child deaths under the age of 5 years.
