Industrial output rose by 6.1% in Kazakhstan - Statistics Agency

ASTANA. May 11. KAZINFORM In January-April 2011 industrial output of Kazakhstan rose by 6.1% compared to the same period in 2010.
"Extraction of coal, natural gas, crude oil and metal ore rose too", a press release reads.
Besides, the Agency informs of growth in engineering sector, manufacture of construction materials, in chemistry and metallurgy, beverages and food production. Industrial growth was observed in 14 regions of the republic. Reduction was recorded in Pavlodar and South Kazakhstan regions.
