Industrial output increased in January, 2011 - Statistics Agency

ASTANA. February 11. KAZINFORM The industrial output increased by 5.8% in January, 2011, the Kazakh Statistics Agency reported.
"Production of crude oil, natural gas, coal, lignite and metal ores increased in January 2011 compared to January 2010. Production of foods, drinks, construction materials, clothes, chemical, metallurgical products and engineering was increased as well", the Agency informed.
Production growth is registered in 14 regions of the country. North Kazakhstan and Kyzylorda regions showed reduction in production.
