Industrial-innovative development in region discussed in Aktobe

Several issues including realization of the regional program of industrial-innovative development till 2008 and tasks till 2009, prospects for development of investment projects of construction of works on production of stainless steel and plate glass, development of the program of increase of the Kazakhstani share in the purchases of goods and services of domestic producers were discussed at the sitting. Chairman of the council, Deputy Akim of the region Roza Kemalova noted the necessity to activate the work of the regional technological cluster, define perspective directions of the economic development in order to realize the program on industrialization of the economy. Member of the Council, Director General of AZNT LTD Yan Tampayev proposed to realize the project of a glass factory in the region. The factory will contribute to the development of the cluster. The members of the Council decided to support the project, renew the feasibility study, find the investor and submit the project to the Governmentfor for consideration.
