Indonesia, Egypt to cooperate on nano technology research
According to Industry Minister Mohamad Suleman Hidayat, the cooperation will involve Indonesia's Industry Ministry, the Ministry for Research and Technology and the Technology Study and Implementation Agency as well as Egypt's University of Alexandria, among others.
"This is a revolutionary innovation as many products using nano technology are not only efficient but also provide many benefits and reduce production costs," said Hidayat.
Dedi Mulyadi, head of Industrial Research and Development Agency at the Industry Ministry, said that his office has signed cooperation agreement with the University of Alexandria's rector.
"We will draft a joint research for five years," he said.
