Indian business delegation to visit Astana and Almaty

ASTANA. 19 June. KAZINFORM – A highly ranking business delegation from India under the aegis of the Confederation of Indian Industry of New Delhi will visit Kazakhstan between June 21 and 25, 2009, the Indian Embassy press service informs.
The delegation will consist of the major companies, such as TATA Motors Ltd., Larsen & Toubro Ltd., IL & FS Infra Structure Development Corporation Ltd., Mc Nally Bharat Engineering Co. Ltd., Shyan Telecom, C & V Mahtani Investment Pvt. Ltd., Integrated Electric Co. Pvt Ltd., Direct Logistics, Western Agri Seeds Ltd and Malligha Asafoetida Company.
In Astana the delegation will hold meetings with the Atameken Union National Economic Chamber, the Fund of National Welfare Samruk-Kazyna and the Astana Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The Indian delegates will also meet with the executives of a number of ministries.
In Almaty the delegates will hold meetings with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Kazakhstan, Kazinvest, and the business community of Kazakhstan.
The upcoming visit is the result of a number business events organized by the Embassy after the decision to promote the bilateral relations and develop strategic partnership between the two countries voiced in the course of the visit of N. Nazarbayev to India in January, 2009.
The visit of the Indian delegation is expected to make a big contribution to the expansion of cooperation between India and Kazakhstan.
