Indian Ambassador to Kazakhstan visits Aktobe

A round table organized by the Administration of Entrepreneurship and Industry on mutual cooperation has taken place today at the regional akimat. The main purpose of his visit to the region is studying the potential of Aktobe region for development of mutual economic ties.

 According to the Administration of Entrepreneurship and Industry, the region has stable trade and economic ties with India. For example, the external trade turnover for 2008 with India amounted to USD 3 738.2 thousand including export - USD 3 139.7 and import - USD 598.5 thousand.

 The Ambassador is expected to meet with Chairman of "Batys" Andar Shukputov. The meeting of the Ambassador with the Mayor of the Region is scheduled on Wednesday to discuss the issues of the participation of Indian business circles in the investment projects implemented in Aktobe region.
