Incredible pageant of Indian dance and music to take place in Astana and Almaty

sp;ALMATY. November 14. KAZINFORM /Aygul Turysbekova/ - More than 60 leading artists from India will perform various styles of classical and folk dance accompanied by live music on Astana and Almaty.
The concerts are a part of the agreement between the countries on consolidation of the relations between the people of India and Kazakhstan made during the state visit of Nursultan Nazarbayev as the main guest at the celebration of Indian Republic Day on January 23-26 2009.
Namely such styles as Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Odissi, Mohiniaattam, Kathakali, Manipuri and Chhau.
The organizers of the free concert are the Embassy of India in Kazakhstan, Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Culture of India and the Academy of Drama and Dance from New-Delhi. The concert in Astana will take place on November 16th at the Congress-Hall, 19.00.
