KOKSHETAU. KAZINFORM - In 2014 Akmola region cultivated area will be increased to 5 million hectares, according to the regional Akim Kosman Aytuhametov.
"This year Akmola region plans to increase acreage to 5 million hectares. In order to diversify acreage in the region we annually increase the area for planting oilseeds. This year, the area will be 279 000 200 hectares. Forage crops to cover 500,530 hectares", said Akim of the region.
