KARAGANDA. January 24. KAZINFORM In 2013, the Karaganda region exported goods to 44 countries, the press service of the regional customs control department reports.
"China (80.2%), the UK (8.3%), Iran (3.2%) and Ukraine (1.2%) are the largest partners that have great impact on export volumes," the press release reads.
According to the press service, 57.7% (nearly $5 billion) of overall export volume of the Karaganda region falls at oil. "PetroKazakhstanKumkol Resources" JSC, "SNPS-Ai-Dan Munai" JSC, "Turgai Petroleum" JSC, "Kazgermunai" LLP, "South Oil" LLP and Kolzhan LLP are among major regional oil exporters.
External turnover of the Karaganda region in 2013 totaled $9.7 billion, with share of exports and imports amounting to 88.9% and 11.1% of the total volume respectively.
