In 2013, Kazakhstan's GDP grew by 6 per cent - Statistics Agency

ASTANA . December 13. KAZINFORM - In January-November 2013, Kazakhstan's GDP has grown by 6 percent in real terms, Kazakhstan Statistics Agency reports.

"In January - November 2013, the GDP, according to preliminary estimates, has increased by 6.0% in real terms. The 2013 GDP in real terms has doubled compared to that in 1991 to make 206.9 %. The per capita GDP in 2013 is estimated to be about 13 000 USD,"- the Agency's press release reads.

The investing trend has been positive ever since the country gained independence in 1991, since then, the volume of investments in fixed assets has amounted to 44.7 trillion tenge by this December. Investment in fixed assets is largely due to the creation of a favorable investment climate and drives economic growth.
