Implementation of EXPO-2017 projects eyed in Sochi

ASTANA-SOCHI. KAZINFORM - First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev has attended a regular meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission in Sochi today, Kazinform refers to primeminister.kz.

The issues of further development of Eurasian integration were on agenda.

In particular, the meeting discussed the draft treaty on the accession of Armenia to the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty, the course of further work on the accession of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Eurasian integration project, as well as further work on the implementation of the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty signed in May this year.

Decisions made at the meeting once again confirmed openness of the integration association.

In addition, the Council discussed key aspects of joint development of regulations aimed at implementing the provisions of the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty, issues of application of the TIR Convention in the framework of the Customs Union, as well as projects of EXPO 2017 in Astana.
