IMF Managing Director to visit CA June 15-18

WASHINGTON. June 13. KAZINFORM /Aliya Altyngazina/ Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Dominique Strauss-Kahn will visit four countries of the Central Asia on June 15-18; Kazinform reports.
According to the IMF press release, during the visit to Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan the Managing Director plans to confirm the Organization?s readiness to assist these states in struggle against the financial crisis.
Dominique Strauss-Kahn?s meetings with the states? leaderships, parliamentarians, representatives of the civil society and scientific circles, and public speaking in the Academy of Public Administration of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz State University are planned.
