Ilya Ilyin to be crowned by IWF as ‘Best Weightlifter of 2014'

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The best weightlifters of the year Ilya Ilyin of Kazakhstan and Tatyana Kashirina of Russia will be awarded in Astana on April 24, the press service of the Kazakhstan Weightlifting Federation informs.
President of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) Dr. Tamás Aján and First Vice President Nicu Vlad, and representatives of World Weightlifting Magazine are expected to attend the awarding ceremony. The event is organized by the IWF, the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Confederation of combat and strength sports. Recall that Ilya Ilyin and Tatyana Kashirina were voted as the best weightlifters of 2014 and won the Jenő Boskovics Lifter of the Year Challenge Trophies.
