Illegal migrant from Cameroon jumps to death in escape attempt

MOSCOW. April 7. KAZINFORM An illegal migrant from Cameroon died in the Moscow region. He jumped to his death from a speeding train as he attempted to escape a police convoy; Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
"Citizen of Cameroon Foming Ethien Depedou, 24, escaped through a lavatory window on train en route Murmansk-Moscow. He was detained in Karelia for violation of the migration legislation and was being convoyed to the Russian capital for deportation," a regional police official told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.
His body was found some time later on railway tracks near the town of Khimki in the Moscow region. An investigation is underway.
