III Summit of Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States' declaration adoption

The summit was also attended by Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Almazbek Atambayev, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Abdullah Gul, Turkish President and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Sapardurdy Toyliev.

In his speech Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that Turkic Council became a known international organization with a wide range of activity.

"The organization makes a significant contribution to strengthening economic, cultural and humanitarian ties, mutual cooperation and unity promote the common brand called "Turkic world", he concluded.

Following the meeting there was adopted a declaration of the III Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking states.

In addition, the heads of states signed the decision on "term of appointment of Secretary General Halil Akinci".
