III int'l investment forum kicks off in Astana

ASTANA. May 24. KAZINFORM The III international investment forum "Astana Invest 2012" has started its work as part of the V Astana Economic Forum with the participation of 1st Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Serik Akhmetov and Astana Mayor Imangali Tasmagambetov.
Opening the forum Akhmetov noted, this platform is a unique opportunity for a dialogue, direct contacts between world political and business circles. For Kazakhstan and Astana it is an efficient way to promote its investment potential. OSCE Summit, Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions and other international events held in Astana bespeak for the capital's role as a bridge between Europe and Asia.

The forum plenary sessions debate issues such as Astana-heart of Eurasia and gateway to the Customs Union, investment potentials and Astana prospects, investments into smart Astana.
