III Congress of World and Traditional Religions' Leaders to play crucial role in inter-faith dialogue promotion - Nazarbayev

ASTANA. July 2. KAZINFORM /Valentina Yelizarova/ The III Congress of the Leaders of the World and Traditional Religions was constructive, President Nursultan Nazarbayev has said at the closing ceremony, Kazinform reports.

"The results of the III Congress of the World and Traditional Religions' Leaders will play an important conceptual role in promotion of the dialogue among civilizations, cultures and religions. Undoubtedly, they will bring people together and will strengthen inter-faith understanding in the whole world", the President stated. N. Nazarbayev highlighted that "an open intercultural, inter-religious dialogue is one of the key issues of Kazakhstan's internal and foreign policy". "We have adhered and will adhere to this principle on all levels of ensuring global and regional security", the Head of the State assured.

N. Nazarbayev expressed gratitude to the heads of the delegations and the guests of the Congress. "The number of the participants grows, the discussions become deeper, more instructive and detailed. It means that the world needs such forum. Our forum is one of the sources of light which is able to show the right way", the President of Kazakhstan resumed.

"We do not say good-bye. We say see you here, in Astana, the capital city of Kazakhstan", N. Nazarbayev said upon completion of his speech and wished all the participants of the forum "peace and harmony, inspiration and wisdom, happiness and the good".
