II Preparatory Conference of OSCE Economic and Environmental Forum kicks off in Minsk

ASTANA. March 15. KAZINFORM II Preparatory Conference of the OSCE Economic and Environmental Forum has been opened in Minsk today, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Kazakh Embassy in Belarus.

Measures and concept on provision of the safety of transport system and transport infrastructure, promotion of mutual and based on cooperation of all participants approach to increase of land transportation security, promotion of environmentally sustainable methods of transportation, etc will be discussed at the Conference. The Conference will accomplish its work on March 16.

OSCE Secretary General Marc Perrin de Brichambaut, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the OSCE Kairat Abdrakhmanov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Valery Voronetsky, Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Vladimir Dervenkov, representatives of the OSCE member states and international organizations will take part in the event. The Kazakh delegation is headed by Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Azat Bekturov.
