IATA will help Kazakhstan to develop airport development program

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Chairman of the Committee for tourism industry under the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies Marat Igaliyev has held a meeting with Jordan Karmalakov, the regional manager of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
According to the press service, the sides discussed issues of cooperation and collaboration in the implementation of promising tourism projects. For the purpose of training and development of the tourism industry in Kazakhstan IATA conducts training of specialists on the tourism program of the International Institute of IATA on training and professional development. "Committee for tourism industry under the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies and IATA plan to work out a program for Kazakhstan's airports development", the statement reads. The sides agreed to actively cooperate in the development and advancement of the tourism industry in Kazakhstan.
