Modern Kazakhstan and Path to Europe int?l conference to be held in Astana

ASTANA. May 18. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ An international scientific conference ?Modern Kazakhstan and ?Path to Europe? is to be held in Astana on May 21-22. Official spokesperson of the Kazakh MFA Yerzhan Ashikbayev has announced it; Kazinform reports.
?This forum aims at acquaintance of representatives of the international community with modern Kazakh achievements in the sphere of socio-political construction, democracy development and further Kazakh prospects in the context of its chairmanship in the OSCE in 2010?, Y.Ashikbayev said.
The Kazakh Parliament deputies, representatives of the central state bodies, diplomatic corps, and experts will take part in it. In the course of the conference it is planned to discuss such topics like ?Peaceful and integration initiatives of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev?, ?Path to Europe?: agenda for Kazakhstan?, ?Experience of political transformation: the Kazakh model?, ?The Kazakh model of interethnic and interregional harmony: experience for the OSCE?.
