The German Bundestag deputy, member of German ? Central Asia Parliamentary Group Manfred Grund, Head of the German Foreign Ministry's Division for the Southern Caucasus and Central Asia Johannes Regenbrecht, leading German and Kazakh experts and analytics will make reports at the conference. In his speech Kazakh Ambassador to Germany Nurlan Onzhanov paid attention to the results of Kazakhstan?s dynamical development, main strategic goals of the country?s economic-political development and relationships with the European Union and the OSCE. The diplomat told about the measures taken by the Kazakh Government on preparation for the chairmanship in the OSCE in 2010 and implementation of the tasks of ?Path to Europe? state program. In this context further strengthening Kazakhstan?s cooperation with the European states is very important, because the EU countries have a big scientific-technical potential, which is a pledge of progressive development. German diplomat Johannes Regenbrecht informed of close cooperation with the Kazakh counterparts and regular consultations in the process of preparation for the chairmanship, creation of an ad hoc department on the OSCE in the Kazakh MFA, which will be the OSCE Task Force during the chairmanship, and carrying out probations of the Kazakh diplomats in the OSCE and educational centers of Europe. M.Grund noted successful interaction of the Kazakh and German parliamentarians, introduction of the European experience in order to improve legal frame conditions for democratic development of the country. He emphasized important significance of such conferences with participation of the German experts for exchange of opinions, information about the work conducted by Kazakhstan. Director of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies B.Sultanov noted Kazakhstan?s central location at the Eurasian continent, its role as ?the bridge between Europe and Asia? that determines the necessity of integrating efforts in solution of such strategic tasks like struggle against terrorism and extremism, transport-logistic system development, tolerance and interethnic concord. M.Hoffmann, in his turn, appraised the country?s economic policy reflected in the state program documents and aimed at achievement of the long-term goals like the country?s industrialization, economy diversification know-how introduction.
