ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The agreement on strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan is even more important today, this opinion has been expressed by President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov during the talks with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in an expanded format.
"We highly appreciate and value historically developed good neighborly relations, common roots, language, traditions, and common interests linking our peoples," said Islam Karimov. President of Uzbekistan noted that strategic partnership agreement with Kazakhstan, signed last year, is gaining greater urgency amid difficult situations in the world and the region.
