ALMATY. February 4. KAZINFORM I hope our medals will help Kazakhstan be atop the team medal rankings. Asian Games champion in super combination Lyudmila Fedotova said it at the 'Shymbulak' alpine sports complex.
As was reported earlier she won gold medal of the tournament and Kseniya Stroilova a bronze one. They already won silver and bronze medals at the competition before.
'I am so happy to have won this gold. I dedicate it to my country, parents and fans. I heard fans supporting me and helped a lot', the champion said.
Korean sportswoman Kim Sun Joo fell before finishing which dissipated her golden chances. 'Korean sportswoman was very strong and she could most probably have won 'gold' if she hadn't fallen. It is slalom you fall you lose you make it to the finish without mistakes you win', the winner said.
