Hyundai production in Kazakhstan starts in July

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - SKD-production of Hyundai three models including crossover Tucson, Elantra sedan and i30hatchback starts in the city of Kostanay, kolesa.kz. website reports.
SKD assembly of Hyundai cars will be launched at "SaryarkaAvtoProm" plant. It is worth noting that recently the plant launched production of SUV Toyota Fortuner. In July pilot batch is planned to be assembled and beginning from August automobiles of the national assembly should be on sale. According to Astana Group president Nurlan Smagulov, in 2014-2015 the company plans to assemble 6000 cars. In the future the model line can be extended up to six cars. Prices for Hyundai Tucson, Elantra and i30 will be reduced and will reach price levels of kindred KIA (Sportage, Cerato and Cee'd), SKD assembled in Ust-Kamenogorsk, East Kazakhstan region.
