Hungary ready to assist Kazakhstan during its OSCE chairmanship: M.Bayer

ASTANA. January 14. KAZINFORM /Rassul Bakhamov/ "Hungary is ready to share experience and render assistance to Kazakhstan during the country's OSCE chairmanship", Ambassador-at-Large for the Nabucco Gas Pipeline Project for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Mihaly Bayer has said today in Astana.

"We expect that Kazakhstan will show itself as an active OSCE chairman and the Organization will work keeping up the pace", M.Bayer noted.

As the Hungarian diplomat noted, Budapest supported Kazakhstan's candidacy to the post of the OSCE chairman for 2010. "This is a great success for Kazakhstan in foreign policy. We hope that the OSCE work will be conducted on the basis of acting principles, and for other Organization partners the chairmanship of our country will be an additional incentive for more active work within the union", M.Bayer said.

As reported earlier, M.Bayer arrived in Astana to take part in negotiations on the issues of Nabucco gas pipeline with the leadership of the Kazakh Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, "KazMunaiGaz" Company and representatives of the Presidential Administration.
