Houston high school teacher accused of having sex with students

According to local TV channel ABC13 reports on Monday, the 32-year-old Geffrey Guzman, who was working at Elsik High School in the Alief Independent School District, sent last May his semi-nude photos to a 17-year-old student, who said that she and Guzman had sexual contact in his vehicle.

Two other girls also told police that they had sexual relationship with Guzman, a nine-year economics teacher.

The Alief Independent School District issued a statement, confirming that Guzman was placed on administrative leave immediately after the district first heard about the allegation and is pending termination.

"The district takes any allegation of this nature very seriously and has been cooperating fully with the Alief ISD Police Department and the Harris County District Attorney's Office throughout the investigation," the statement said.

Currently, Guzman faces two charges of inappropriate relationship with a student.

On Friday, a former female high school teacher in the lone star state was sentenced to five years in prison after being convicted of having sex with her five male students last year.
