Housing and utilities infrastructure modernization of top-priority: A.Yessimov

ALMATY. February 9. KAZINFORM /Yekaterina Ionova/ In his recent Address to the Nation the President of Kazakhstan laid special emphasis on modernization of the housing and utilities infrastructure and systems of water, heating, energy and gas supply. Further modernization of this strategic sphere is the top-priority task for the nearest future. Almaty Mayor Akhmetzhan Yessimov has made it public today.
According to him, the construction of "Kensai" substation will be continued in 2011 to form a closed electrical system of the city. Further gasification of Almaty will be accelerated as well.
"The city Akimat has successfully reorganized "Gorvodocanal" municipal enterprise. The company modernizes the main funds without budgetary subsidies due to cost optimization", A.Yessimov said.
Alike structural reforms are held in all enterprises of the thermal-power complex of Almaty.
