House fire kills elderly man in N Kazakhstan

PETROPAVLOVSK. KAZINFORM - A 68-year-old man has died in the fire at a semi-detached dwelling house in the city of Petropavlovsk, according to the press service of the regional Emergency Department.
Police reported that the man lived alone and, according to neighbors, he often smoked in bed. The deceased was found in the kitchen sitting in the chair. The man reportedly fell asleep with a lighted cigarette in his hand.
