Hotline created for family members of passengers on AZAL's Baku-Grozny flight

A hotline has been opened for family members of passengers on the Baku-Grozny AZAL flight, a source in the airline told Trend.

Family members of the passengers can call (+994) 12 5048280, (+994) 12 5048202, (+994) 12 5048203.

According to preliminary information, 28 people were taken to hospital with various injuries, Kazinform News Agency reports.

23 ambulance crews were deployed to the crash site.

The air medical service plane carrying surgeons and traumatologists is set to leave today for Aktau from Astana.

As earlier reported, a plane crashed today near Aktau, Kazakhstan. 52 personnel and 11 units of equipment of the Kazakh Emergencies Ministry rushed to the site.

The plane was carrying 67 people, including five crew members.

According to preliminary information, 25 people survived the crash, of which 22 were rushed to hospital.

150 responders and 45 units of equipment are deployed at the crash site.

Four bodies were recovered at the crash site. 22 ambulance crews were rushed to the scene.

26 those injured were taken to the regional hospital. Seven out of 24 admitted were rushed to the intensive care unit. Two children aged 11 and 16 were also hospitalized.
