Honduras confirms 2nd death of A/H1N1 flu

TEGUCIGALPA. July 30. KAZINFORM The Honduran Director of Health Vigilance, Marco Antonio Pinel, reported Wednesday the second death ofA/H1N1 flu in the country; Kazinform cites Xinhua.
The patient was a 32-year-old woman from Alauca, a town in the border zone with Nicaragua, east of Honduras.
Pinel said a health team was investigating the spread of the infection within this zone.
Health authorities were also making efforts to avoid outbreaks of diseases like dengue and malaria, Pinel added.
Honduras announced its first death of A/H1N1 flu on June 22. The victim was a 23-year-old woman from western Honduras; according to Xinhua.
