Honda to recall 412,000 U.S. vehicles over

CHICAGO. March 17. KAZINFORM Honda said on Tuesday that it will recall 412,000 vehicles in the United States due to customer complaints of "soft" brake pedals; Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
Honda, Japan's second largest automobile manufacturer, said on Tuesday in a Statement that it would recall approximately 344,000 Odyssey and 68,000 Element vehicles from the 2007-2008 model years in the U.S. to modify the Vehicle Stability Assist modulator.
Customers told Honda about the brake pedals that feel "soft" and gets lower than normal to the floor before the vehicle stops. This condition tends to increase very slowly over time in affected vehicles, according to the statement of Honda; Kazinform cites Xinhua.
