Home prices to soar ahead of EXPO-2017 in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Home prices are set to zoom ahead of the EXPO-2017 event in Astana, predicts Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Kairat Kelimbetov.
"Of course, there will be a home prices increase. The question is in what district of the city," Mr. Kelimbetov said at a Tuesday press briefing at the KazMedia Center. The Head of the National Bank didn't not specify the level of expected increase, but said ‘it should be kept in check in order to avoid factitious demand for housing.'
