Holy month of Ramadan to begin in Kyrgyzstan on March 1

The Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan has approved the date for the beginning of the fast, Kabar reports.
In 2025 the holy month of Ramadan will begin on March 1.
Tarawih prayers will be performed in mosques across the country on February 28.
The fast will last 30 days. According to tradition, Muslims are not allowed to drink or eat during daylight hours during the month.
Earlier it was reported that the first day of Ramadan in Kazakhstan falls on March 1.
