Higher cost of fuel leads to increase in tariffs for heat supply
So, there was a slight increase in fees in the Pavlodar region - by 3.7 tenge per 1 square meter (or 7%) and in Atyrau region by 5.11 tenge per 1 square meter (or 5.3%). Price size has changed significantly in the West Kazakhstan region by 21.38 tenge per 1 square meter (or 25%) and in Kostanai region by 15.17 tenge per 1 square meter (or 13.7%).
The main reason for growth of tariffs for heat supply is rising cost of fuel: for gas - up to 13% (WKO), fuel oil - up to 49% (Pavlodar region). At the same time, the share of consumption in tariff structure for heat ranges from 50 to 70%.
It should be noted that a number of regions of the country (south of Kazakhstan and Kostanay) are using as fuel gas imports from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The effect on heating rates have also had cost of fuel, spare parts and repairs.
