High voter turnout demonstrates steady development of election process in Kazakhstan - Julia Levochkina

Julia Levochkina congratulated the President on the results of the elections and conveyed N. Nazarbayev wishes of health and success from President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovich.

N.Nazarbayev noted that Kazakhstan would continue to actively cooperate with the Parliamentary Assembly and develop its policy of economical and political modernization.

"Kazakhstan is not a member of the Council of Europe. The mission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe visited Kazakhstan to monitor the elections. We think that the presidential elections were well organized and were held in a peaceful, working atmosphere. High voter turnout demonstrates the steady development of election process in Kazakhstan," J. Levochkina said at the briefing with journalists.
