"Production of passenger cars "Tulpar-Talgo" has been included into the State Program of Forced Industrial-Innovative Development of Kazakhstan. We plan to produce 420 passenger cars by 2015 and it also creates an opportunity to hire more than 360 people," he said.

According to him, the unique feature of produced by the enterprise coaches is in the running gear  that allows to go 200 km per hour without slowing down on the curves and preserve the dynamics of the pace and reduce the travel time. For example, the train produced by "Tulpar-Talgo" plant going from Petropavlovsk to Almaty spends 18 hours for this trip instead of 30 hours before. One more significant advantage of these cars is their price, they are much cheaper than Russian and European ones.

Presently, the first train set of cars underwent international certification and was put into service.

"Increase in speed of movement on the railroads of Kazakhstan will result in reduction of travel time and increase of traffic flow in Kazakhstan," Stanislav Podavets added.

Thanks to the state support, railroad industry has been developing in a great pace recently in Kazakhstan. Thus, National Company "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" implemented large-scale projects in Astana such as "Locomotive Assembly Plant" JSC, "Tulpar-Talgo" JSC, and "Kazakhstan Wagon Company" LLP in Ekibastuz.
