Heavy snowstorm to hit N Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazhydromet, Kazakhstan's national forecaster, predicts heavy snowstorm in northern Kazakhstan today. Weather without precipitation is expected in other regions of Kazakhstan.
Snow, fog, sleet and strong wind will persist in northern and north-western parts of the country today. Wind gusting up to 15-20 meters per second will hit North Kazakhstan, Pavlodar and Kostanay regions. Meteorologists predict that wind will strengthen in Zhambyl and East Kazakhstan regions as well. South Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan and Karaganda regions will be steeped in fog.
