Heavy polling, 60.5%, recorded in Almaty region

ASTANA. April 3. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ Voter turnout in Almaty region reached 60.5% or more than half a million voters. Lyazzat Suleimen, member of the Central Election Commission announced the data at a briefing.
531 116 citizens cast their votes in Almaty region. In the city of Astana voter turnout is 17.2% (60 869), in Almaty -13.4% (128 592).
Total voter turnout in Kazakhstan made 40.3% (3.7 million).
