Heavy industry spinning up in Atyrau

ATYRAU. July 21. KAZINFORM /Andrey Sokolov / - Industrial production output amounted to KZT 786 billion in Atyrau region in the first half-year of 2009, which is 9.8 % more than during analogous period of 2008.
The output in mining industry reached KZT 702 billion. During the first half a year almost 13 million tons of oil, more than 5 billion cubic meters of gas an over million tons of sulfur had been produced in the region.
