Heaviest rainstorm of the year hits Beijing, two suspected killed by thunder strike

BEIJING. July 25. KAZINFORM Two people found dead in Beijing Sunday night are suspected to have been killed by thunder strike, as the heaviest rainstorm of the year pounded Beijing from Sunday through Monday morning. Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
The northern suburban district of Miyun recorded the biggest precipitation of 243 millimeters in 22 hours by 6 a.m. Monday, said Wei Jianmin, chief forecaster of the Beijing Observatory, Monday.
